Creating Micro-Posts

You can create short posts using the quick widget on Mac or iOS, and automatically cross-post them to Mastodon. Here’s a quick video demonstrating how micro-posting works on macOS. On iOS, the same interface is available from your blog screen.

Social media has trained us to share quick thoughts, and PupperPost gives you that power too. You can get to the micropost editor anytime by tapping the paw icon and dashing off a quick thought.

PupperPost macOS Micropost The character counter is a suggestion, not a hard limit; think of it as a guide that lets you know when you might want to consider using a regular post type instead. 😉

The micro-post text can include hyperlinks; they’ll be converted to live links after you Post. You can also either tap the Media button to choose an image from your local files, or drag and drop an image from the Finder (or Files on iOS).

And the coolest part: if you're a Mastodon user, you can setup PupperPost to automatically cross-post to your account.
